Today was also the first day of this photography day camp that I'm taking with my sister and cousin this week. Ok so, since its been foreverrrrrr and I miss blogging and I miss u guys, I decided instead of writing the whole ; "I'm sorry for ditching my blog for so long" thing Imma just share with you a little bit of how my Summer's goin and maybe give you a few pretty photos to look at as well so here we go:

First-
I love strawberries I mean who doesn't right? Well, what's even better than strawberries are getting to pick them yourself and I did just that when they were in season about a month ago ( yes its been that long :( ) it was tons of fun and the strawberries were delicious :p

Second- I just got back from an amazing Church Camp called Water's Edge. It was incredible the services were eye opening, the games and activities were superr funn and I made some amazing friends :D I don't have any pics from it though :( but, it was one of the most amazing times of my life..haha :D

I guess I haven't exactly done much so far this year but, there's still a bit more Summer to come. I have done some other little fun things in between like slumber parties and hangin with fwends and family so here are some more random pics :D Enjoy!

Hey guys,
guess what??? I'm back!!!
After little less than a month I'm back on my blog.
I have lots of photos from my Vacation to share with you when all are edited to my liking but, right now I have something to discuss with you.
As I was on my break I had a thought that raced through my mind time and again. I love my blog and I love you followers with ALL my heart but, I think I've been focusing too much on trying to post what you want to read instead of what I want to post. This is after all my blog and I think it should be what I like. So, not to make you feel unimportant because you certainly make this blog worth something but, I think I'm going to be focusing on more fashion and things I enjoy and not have to feel bad if I don't post everyday. I hope you'll still be a supporter of my blog but, I'm just going to post when I feel like something I want to share is on my mind. I love all of you soooooo very much, thank you for your support :D

Taking a Break...

Hey guys,

Ok so you've probably noticed that I've neglected my blog for over a week and I'm really sorry about that.
It just seems like posting on my blog has become a chore and frankly I don't have any inspiration to post so, I will be taking a break from my blog until next month. The reason for this is because I will be going on vacation at the end of this month and right now I have a very nasty cold so, it just seems like it would be best if I picked the posting back up in May. I hope that you will still be a loyal reader of my blog but, for now I really need a break. Thanks so much for being supportive of my blog. You have no idea what it means to me when you guys post a comment or follow. It really makes my day! :D I love this blog so much but, I just don't want it to become something I feel like I need to do instead of something I want to do.

Baby Blue Nail Polish...

Recently I've been noticing these pastel colored nail polishes around and I was a little curious as to how they would look since they don't seem like normal looking nail polish. Whatever that may be ;) Anyway, so finally I decided to try this baby blue nail polish and I have to say I absolutely love it. It's a light color but, it really stands out. So, I painted my nails and decided to take some nice photos of them just for fun! Hope you like 'em and maybe you are now inspired to try one of these colors out yourself!! Sorry this is such a quick post but, I just wanted to share with you a little bit of my day so far.

Alligator Sky...

Hey guys,
Ok so, this weekend my family and I attended a Homeschool convention in Cincinnati.
I had a lot of fun and it was great family time. We also went to the Creation Museum for the second time ever but, terribly unfortunately I accidentally deleted ALL the photos from our trip!! I was terribly devastated :'( Luckily I was really the only one upset at myself. I am extremely grateful that my sister Abby had her Ipod touch, so not all memories are lost.
Anywho, I did manage to take some photos of my outfit today. Its so nice right now. Well, temp. wise.
As you can see from the photos; the clouds and rain are rolling in. But, I got some nice photos outside, beating the weather. If I'm correct I believe this is my first outfit post outside :D Hmmm...YAY!
I also took a photo of the storm clouds and thought the saying fit it well. (very last photo at the bottom)

Hey guys,
Recently, I created a YouTube account I've uploaded 3 videos in just 5 days time because its just so much fun to make these things!! Anyway, this is my latest video that I made yesterday with one of my friends Tiphanie!! It was a lot of fun and even though the music video doesn't really have anything to do with the song I still like how it turned out. I was really frustrated at how hard it was to make a movie with music.With having to fit the videos just right into the music and, oh my gosh it took 3 tries to get it right but, I stuck with it and this is the result.
The second part of me singing is a little off but, I think it happened during the upload process. Enjoy!! Please let me know what you think and don't forget to check out the other 2 videos I have on my YouTube channel

Hey guys,
I know I just posted a little bit ago about this silly computer acting up but, FINALLY its working!! :D
You have no idea how HAPPY I am right now!
Its not like my life is on this computer because it certainly is not but, this blog is very important to me so, I am very grateful that it is up and running again!!

I'm not usually one to mix prints. I suppose it is because I prefer to go for a more 'safe' approach to fashion. But, I am unusually excited about this trend for the Spring and Summer. I have decided to get out of my comfort zone and mix some prints together. I particularly like the polka dot dress and the floral print shoes myself but, I will try to maybe mix tops and bottoms with different prints. I am like SOOOO sorry I haven't posted in over a week, I've just let things get me busy and I haven't had any inspiration to post. Before I talk about my outfit I want to tell you guys how my giveaway is going.

Momentum 2011!!

This year, like every year since 2009 my youth group and I have gone up North to an Eastern Michigan District Nazarene Competition called Momentum. Its always a blast and our youth group always does incredible. The whole point of the competition is to use our gifts and talents God has given us for his glory.
I played Amazing Grace on my violin and sang Anyway by Martina McBride with my bestie Bri.
The other teens in our group sang, 3 of them played piano (as you can see by the photos), one of them played guitar (sorry I don't have a photo of him playing) the guys put on a drama and me and a few other teens performed a STICKS drama. It was a great day!! The next step is the regional Celebrate Life which I believe will be happening in May. Every single one of us in my youth group get to move on to that next level which is amazing!!! I love my youth group!! :D

Ginger Snap...

I really didn't have a good clever name for this post so I just thought of something cute.

Anywho, I've been meaning to post this outfit for a while because I think its my favorite, what do you guys think? I just love how easy over sized sweaters are to use in an outfit, and they look totally adorable!

I also did this cool thing with my hair. Once I get the hang of it I may put together a little tutorial on how to make it.

Hold My Hand...

I've had this sweater foreverrrr but I was just looking in my mom's closet when I happened upon this adorable floral print scarf. If you can tell I'm really into scarves right now so when I found it I just knew I had to borrow it.
I'm in a really good mood right now because I will be seeing I Am Number 4 later with my sister, mom and bestie Bri!! Even though there is now snow on the ground I will not let it get me down.
Of course with all the sun it makes it much easier. I did take the opportunity to take some great photos of the icy tree branches before it all melts. I will definitely post those tomorrow. Oh and please don't be mad at me because I didn't get a chance to get my giveaway together. I'm still making things just right, I really want this to be successful. Dreaming of Spring....

Well, I"M BACK!!!
I had a fantabulous time and I loved having the opportunity to play my violin for the wedding.
If you guys didn't know what I was just talking about there; I went to my cousin's wedding on Monday and I played Canon in D for her wedding ceremony.
Anywho, I have a few photos from the wedding but I will download and post those later.
Right now I thought I would post a little Polyvore collage I made.
On Sunday where we were for the wedding it got up to almost 60 Degrees!!
It was insane, we didn't even need our coats so, that got me all psyched up for Spring and inspired me to make this:

Manicures!! :D

This Valentines day ( which is this Monday ) one of my cousins ( Linda ) is getting married and so tomorrow we are all piling into a mini van ( along with our luggage ) and heading 5 hours south to where she's having the ceremony! I'm really excited because I was asked to play Canon in D for the walk down the isle on my violin.
I'm a little nervous but more excited!!
Ok, so on to the manicures.
Since the wedding is on Monday and we're leaving on Sunday, yesterday my mom treated My sister abby and I to Valentine Manicures!!
It was oodles of fun and our nails turned out fabulous.
I had them paint my nails cream with a red heart design on each nail and Abby had them painted dark red with a white heart design :D

I thought this was a fun idea, and correct me if I'm wrong but, I thought maybe sharing my thoughts on recent fashion trends may enlighten you of my personal style :)
I love bright colors don't get me wrong but, I happen to love this newest trend that seems to be popping up lately.
Super light pinks and nudes I suppose are essential for pre-spring wardrobes.
I love the idea of it, very girly and very frilly.
Two of my favorite things :)
So, you can bet that the next time I go shopping I will probably end up purchasing a frilly top or skirt in this adorable light pink color!!!

Church Youth Group Girl's Only Lock-In!!! :D

Hey everyone, I hope everyone had a good week last week.
I know I did, especially on Friday night/ Saturday morning.
At my Church we had a girls only lock-in with my youth group.
It was a total blast!!! We had soooo much fun, modeling , doing make-overs, watching hairspray and my favorite part trying on a bunch of prom and homecoming dresses a girl who was previously in our youth group brought for us to have fun with. I felt like a was going to a prom with everyone!! All in all it was such a fun night and morning even though I couldn't sleep all night no matter how hard I tried to.

Daddy Daughter Dance 2011!!!

I had such a blast this past Saturday at the annual event held at a local highschool.

Ok, so I sort of just threw together this outfit at the last minute.
I recently purchased this dress at Forever21 but it was a bit too short so my mom and I planned to add some material to the bottom. But, instead I decided to just wear it over these jeggings I had and ta-da!! And of course I had to edit a couple of photos i took this morning!!

What's Different and A Slumber Party!! :D

Hey everyone,

Ok so not many people commented on what they think is different about my blog :( so I figured i might as well just tell you.....

I changed my blog's name! It is and will be " No Such Thing As Normal"

Its a phrase ( for some reason ) I happen to say a lot and I think it fits very nicely.

I hope you all agree.

Ok so, on another note:

One of my bestest fwends Bri and I had a slumber party last night at her house.

We had a blast last night giving each other blindfolded makeovers, eating junk food, drinking pop, staying up till 1:00 am. and making this HILARIOUS Parody video of Justin Bieber's song Baby.

It looks great but for some reason Bri's computer wont let us upload it but, if we ever get to upload it I will surely share it with you on here.

Every year, as tradition Abby and I go to our Aunt's house to decorate Gingerbread houses for Christmas. This year it ended up being black friday. We weren't the only ones there though, a few of our aunt's other nieces and nephews were decorating too, they were younger though.

Autumn Fun :)

Well, i have not recently posted anything interesting and I figured I would today.

I don't know if very many of you celebrate Halloween, I don't exactly either, but we do go to our Aunt and Uncle's every year and have sloppy Joe's ( its a tradition) and we give out candy to trick-or-treaters.

But this year we also went to one of our Church friend's house for a costume party and scavenger hunt.

And, even before that we went on a field trip with our Church Youth Group to a local orchard, that was much fun as well.

Also on the same night we went to something called "cosmic bowling" its bowling with black lights, music and pizza.

We had loads of fun with each event and I'd like to share some photos from them with you.

FIELD TRIP!!!!

On the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month my sister, mom and I attend a homeschool co-op called Chea.
Its really fun, we've been taking a class on The history of the constitution.
I'm really enjoying it.
Anywho, Instead of our normal class, we all took a field trip to a family owned farm that I had never heard of until now. The farm is christian and the family uses it to teach to people who come about Jesus Christ. It sounds like a really cool thing to do right?
I had a blast, there were farm animals, LOTS of pumpkins, a hay bale maze, a pumpkin patch and we even got a donut and cider at the end of the tour.

Legend of The Guardians

Anyway yesterday was lots of fun!
First, my mom, my sister and a daughter of my moms's friend and I all went to the movies yesterday to see the new movie " Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'hoole.
Its was awesome, I loved the story and the message it gave, and it was amazing in 3D :)

Anywho, one of the cutest outfit combos ( in my opinion ) are plaid shirts and sweatshirts.
I don't know about you but they just seem to say "Fall" to me.

COUNT DOWN TO MY BIRTHDAY- 9 DAYS!

Ok so I have an announcement,

My Birthday is in 9 days!!

I am super excited, I'm having a birthday party on the 12th though, so two days before my birthday.

Anywho, I wanted to start this yesterday but I forgot so I will start today.

so, I decided everyday I will have a countdown along with a fact that hopefully not many of you know about me. Plus I will post a picture of myself that I ust found in our photo files.

So today is 9 DAYS!

since I missed yesterday I will post two facts:

1. I am in 9th grade and in the Church youth group, but sometimes I volunteer to help with the sunday school and kids classes cuz I miss it..lolz :)

2. I love to write fantasy stories, but I decided to start writing not so intense and funny stories and found them to be easier to write. Could it be because I'm a bit crazy and funny myself? Hm..hehe.

Hope you didn't know that about me yet.

A "Super" Fun Week - VBS

Hey everybody,
Ok so last week from Monday to Friday there was a "super" fun VBS happening at my Church.
We have been having a VBS every summer since forever and this year the theme was Hero Headquarters. The kids attending learned all about bible heroes. Some familiar and some not so familiar. I've been too old to be a kid at the VBS' for a while but for a couple years now I have been a part of the skits. This year I was Water Woman- a timid super hero who specializes in bottled water and spraying things off with her Ultra-fabulous bubble blaster 4000. Throughout the VBS I (as Water Woman) learned that I have to put my trust in God and that I don't have to be afraid of saving people. I had a blast. Also in the skit was Jason the husband of the children's leader as Maintenance Mac and a guy in my youth group, Nick as Pizza Man. Here are some pictures from the week.

COUNTY FAIR WEEK!! :)

Hello,
Ok so I know I've pretty much deserted this blog. But I have a very reasonable explanation.
This week in the county in which I live we had a fair. We have for as long as I can remember and I always have a blast. This year seemed especially fun though hehe :)
I had an amazing slushy every day there and hung out with my besties.

Well, I don't know about you but I love school.
I love to learn and read and all the fun things that come along with the school year.
One thing I like about starting the school year and Fall is new clothes.
A popular look for fall is the "preppy look"
I looove that look.

Ok, I have a confession to make.
I am a necklace hoarder..jk *laugh*
Maybe its not to the point where i need medical help but I will say that when it comes to necklaces I am obsessed.
I mean what's not to like about them?
They tie a whole outfit together and look absolutely darling.
Plus there are tons of them everywhere, but my favorite place to find necklaces is Forever21.
They have a HUGE selection and they are completely affordable.

The Last Airbender movie.

Yesterday afternoon I went to see the movie " The Last Airbender" with my friends Brendan, Julia and my sis Abby. For those of you who have watched the cartoon on Nickleodeon like I have; it was cool for me to point out who was who and which parts of the movie I had recognized from the show.

It was a really awesome movie and I recomend it to anyone who likes cool action movies. I had a really good time with my friends. Hope you enjoyed the trailer for it.

Ok so last night/early morning I had one of my bestest buddies over for a slumber party.

We watched 2 movies ( Jurassic park and Alice in Wonderland ) had a bunch of candy and went pretty much nuts.

I had so much fun.

We stayed up till 5:00 am which is a first for me cuz I cannot stay up late at all, but I did ( barely ).

Ok so I would like to share my day with you

This is the first day that I am doing this, if anyone is interested in doing this too than feel free to do it, just make sure you save the pictures to go with your post.

I am going to be doing this anytime I feel like it, do so as you want.

Here I goeth:

First my family went to church for the morning service.
My youth group and I got to present a check to our church in front of everyone and guess who was nominated to tell everyone in the congregation about what we had decided to do for God?
Yup, me..haha
I wasn't too nervous about it at first but once I got up there I was a little.
But I made it through with God by my side.
I was really glad to be a part of that.

Second, usually we have church youth group at 6 on Sunday nights but instead we had volunteered to work at a local soup kitchen with our friends at thier church.
I had a really good time and it felt great to serve the people.
They were super nice and I had so much fun.

Third, haven't gotten that far yet..haha but the day is almost over.
For me anyway, I cannot stay up past 10, I crash, then wake up early.
Its awfully weird but i'm cool with it..lolz.

Anyway, thanks for reading, my fellow computer lovers..hee hee

Apologies and Camp week :D

I'm so sorry i haven't posted in forever...again.
I've really been dropping the ball.
I know I've said this many times before but once more won't hurt anyone...I will try my hardest to post more often.
I'm going to start posting more pictures and treat my blog more like a journal of what I'm doing.

Here's and update on me:

Well, my cousin has just gotten out of school so we all went to camp.
No not like away from home, right here in my house.
Its been a tradition for about 3 years now that some week after my cousin got out of school we would have her over to our house for a week.
We set up a tent in our basement and spend time outside ( weather permitting of course )
We've been taking hikes ( walks in our neighborhood) every morning so far.
Camp ends on friday but to end the whole camp thing we are going to see a movie on Saturday.
I know its not much of a camp thing but I really want to see this movie ( Prince or Persia )
I'll let you know how the camp is going tomorrow.
I'll also post pics of it when I get the chance.

RCL 2010 :D

Ok so my youth group and I went to an awesome event this weekend. Its a regional celebrate life for Nazarenes. What is regional celebrate life? Its a competition for Nazarene churches in MI, WI, IL, IN to show off the talents God has blessed them with. I had so much walking around with my friends on the campus that it was held at.
I'm so glad that so many of the teens in our group could come. I was part of a stix drama and we got an excellent score for that and I knitted a scarf and got superior for that.
I can't wait for next year. Enjoy the pictures of the event.

Letters to God.
