Happy Waking Up Early Friday :) ( not )

Hey Everyone :)
I won't probably be able to post for a couple of days so I thought I would today.
Well...yesterday was GREAT!!!
We had some family members come over for Thanksgiving.
The food my mom made was amazing.
Today we are having another group of family members over for leftover Friday or Black Friday if you prefere.
This morning my mom, sister and dad went out to get some stuff on sale.
I woke up with a scratchy throat so I just stayed in bed.
I can't say I wasn't happy with my choice though :)
Anyway so they got up at 4:00 in the morning.
Yikes!!
I feel better now but I'm still glad I got to stay home and sleep normal hours.
Have A happy leftover Friday aka Black Friday.
Why do they call it that anyways.
If ya know it would awesome if you could post a comment.

The Giving of Thanks :)

Hey everyone :)
Just wanted to make a shout out to Thanksgiving :).
To me thanksgiving means:
-Awesome food
-Family members
-Rock band with my cousins
-And most importantly giving thanks to God for everything He's blessed me with.
I luv Thanksgiving because not only is it a way to eat a ton of food without your mom telling you to slow down but its an opportunity to spend time with your family and friends that you might not otherwise.
I am thankful for:
-My blog and followers
-My family
-My friends
-My Church
-My health
-My life
-and my relationship with Jesus Christ.

H1N1 :(

Ok so I was kinda hoping that none of my family members would get the swine flu...excuse me H1N1.
But...guess what.
My mom got it.
I will say its really not the worst flu in the would but its certainly not the best.
She is getting a little better but not by much.
Please pray for her so that she'll get better and please pray for my family and I too so that we don't catch it.

I Miss Summer :(

I miss Summer already :(
In my oppinion I think its way too cold to be fall.
I'm surprised it hasn't snowed yet.



Anyway I was looking through my pictures and I found some pretty good Spring/Summer pics that I wanted to post.

I Have Been Up To Alot :D

Sorry its been a week :(
I have been up to quite a bit.
-On Saturday we went on a sail boat ride. It was ok I guess. We were supposed to see the colorful leaves on the trees while they were still there. But instead all the leaves were already off the trees 'cause it had been really windy. It was super cold too :(. But all in all it was a fun time with my family.
-On Sunday my Church youth group and I went to a corn maze. It was so much fun. The corn maze is a different theme every year. This year it was the Wizard of OZ. They had 3 choices between a hard one, a medium one or an easy one. The group I was in and I all chose to go in the medium one only because the hard one was too long and we wouldn't have enough time.
So I have been having a bunch of fun lately but I have also been busy.

Hey everyone :D
I haven't posted in a little while so I figured I would tell you what I've been up to.
Well :
-I have been going to my Church's Christmas play practices. The story is like a Christmas Carol but a little different. My friend Sammy wrote it. I'm Molly the coir director. She's like the Bob Cratchet of the Christmas Carol.
-I have been going to Classical Tutors. Its kinda like school only every Wednesday instead of everyday. Since I am home schooled.
-A couple of girls and thier moms, My mom, sister and I have started a girls only bible study.
We started it last year than stopped during the summer when it gets really hectic. We meet every Monday night to go through a bible study book/devotional. I really enjoy it.
I guess that's what I've been up to.
I will try to post more often.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY COUSIN!!!!

Yesterday was my cousin's birthday.

we went to the bouncy place that i went to for my birthday with my aunt, my cousin and his friend.

We had a lot of fun.

we bounced for a while and then went to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meat Balls in 3D.

It was a really cute and funny movie.

I had a blast yesterday and I think my cousin did too.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!!!!!

Today is my BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!
Today has been great so far.
First I woke up and my mom made chocolate chip muffins ( they were really good ).
Then My mom took My sis and I to get our hair done.
I was planning to only get a trim but I decided t get my hair lightened in stead so its really pretty. I also got curls too...all for my birthday of course.
Then tonight we're going out to dinner to a really good place.
Anyway I'll hopefully have pictures of what my hair looks like now and also the pictures from my birthday party I was telling you about.
Anyway HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!! :)
P.S I'm now 14 woo hoo...two more years and I'll be driving.

My Birthday is Monday...

My birthday is Monday and I'm so excited about it.
The other night my mom was looking at our calender and said "Hey Cori your birthday is Monday".
I didn't even realize. Guess I don't really pay attention to the date.
Anyway I'm having a birthday party tomorrow with a few of my friends.
I'll post what we did maybe Saturday.
Oh and I'm turning 14 awesome huh.

A Really Fun Weekend...

I'm back from my vacation to the Nazarene Camp Grounds near where I live.
We had a lot of fun...here's what we did:
Friday: we unpacked of course. we stayed in a cottage for rent just for the weekend, then we hung around took a few bike rides and made s'mores at one of our friends campers.
Saturday: We went swimming and took a few more bike rides and then our aunt, uncle and cousin came and stayed until Monday, also one of Abby's friends from the camp she went to earlier this summer came and spent the night at the cottage with us, ten that night they had a teen talent contest that we went to, Abby's other friend played her flute and took second place which was really cool...I didn't do anything except cheer on the participants.
Sunday: we went to church that morning of course, then after church they had a free potluck in the dinning hall, then Abby and my cousin participated in a fishing tournament they didn't win a trophy but they had fun anyway, then we went swimming again :).
Then today ( Monday): there was a kids carnival, my cousin and I and three more friends of ours were a team for a scavenger hunt we didn't win but we finished in 26 min. there was also an olympics which Abby and my Dad took third place in. so that was my weekend. We did a lot of stuff huh. I had SO much fun. :)

Be Back Monday...

My family and I are leaving for a Nazarene camp ground tomorrow and we're staying there through Labor Day weekend.
So I won't be able to post anything until we get back on Monday.
I'll hopefully have pictures of it when I get back so you can check out what we did there.
Anyway...I guess bye until Monday.

A Busy But Normal Day for Me....

Today was a pretty normal day...
but for us that means a lot of running around.
First this morning we went for a nice long walk in our neighborhood,
then we went to the grocery sore to buy some stuff,
then my mom made 2 lasagnas for my cousin who just got out of rehab at the hospital,
then we went to the mall which was purposeless considering that we couldn't find whet we were looking for, then we finally came home and that's where I am now....on the computer.
So that's what I did today...pretty busy huh...yeah but I'm used to it that way so it would be weird if it weren't that way.

Today my friend had surgery done in her gums.
She hurting really bad and she's really upset.
We went over to her house to bring her some chocolate ice cream to cheer her up today.
So please pray for her that her mouth stops hurting and that she recovers quickly.

Today.....

I know my page is boring.
And I don't have pictures but Ill tell you about what I did today...
I went to church this morning and after the service there was a potluck.
I love potlucks because I get to try all different kinds of foods.
Then after the delicious potluck I went back to church for youth group at 6:00 pm.
We played with water balloons and I got a water balloon popped on my head.
It was really fun though :).
So I guess that's a start right.
Anyway I hope you like the post.
I have been told that I should post more by my friend Sammy.
So Ill try to post at least every other day.
